Kinetic Data Honors Customers with Second Annual Wally Awards

CareTech Solutions, Advanced Technology Services and Baxter International recognized for innovative use of Enterprise Request Management (ERM) technology

ST. PAUL, Minn. (May 20, 2015) — In the midst of a Kinetic Enthusiasts Group (KEG) event filled with strategic learning sessions, customer stories, product sneak peeks and hands-on training, Kinetic Data took time to celebrate its customers with the second annual Wally awards.

Statues of Kinetic Data’s mascot Wally in a conductor uniform (highlighting the event’s “Platform for Success” theme) were given to representatives of CareTech Solutions, Advanced Technology Services, and Baxter International for their innovative and creative use of Kinetic Data software.

For the second year in a row, CareTech Solutions took home the "Innovator of the Year" award. Mark Klein, Kinetic Request Remedy developer at CareTech Solutions, was specifically honored for pushing the envelope of Kinetic Data software — directly and indirectly driving new features and innovation. In addition to a recent call-script style solution specifically designed to solve printer problems, CareTech Solutions uses Kinetic Request to centralize visitor information with a digital sign-in sheet.

The "Spirit of KEG" award was given to Advanced Technology Services (ATS). This award is given to a company that acts on knowledge they learned at KEG to improve their organization. ATS created a digital guest registration process based on CareTech Solutions’ innovation. ATS also is embracing mobility with its recent rollout of myENTERPRISE – a secure mobile interface that lets users review, submit and take action on their daily requests. The company also launched formless QR code requests, reducing user inputs and time while improving accuracy.

Baxter International was the recipient of the "Evolutionary of the Year" award. Rather than wait until its service catalog was "perfect" to go live, the Baxter team (with the help of Kinetic Data and Unisys) used a "continuously improve and evolve" method to deploy its service catalog. The team at Baxter is using Kinetic Task and Kinetic Request to ensure seamless integration of its existing systems.

"We’re really impressed by how our customers use our software to creatively solve issues," said John Sundberg, president of Kinetic Data. "The Wallys celebrate that innovation and inspired enthusiasm."

KEG took place May 3 through 8 at The Depot Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel.
