Kinetic Data’s Online Calendar Tool Added to the U.S. Navy's Official Registry of Application and Database Management Systems (DADMS)

Inclusion approves Kinetic Calendar for use in all Navy and Marine Corps Information Technology systems.

St. Paul, Minn.—Oct. 13, 2009—Kinetic Data (http://www.kineticdata.com), the leading provider of third-party business service management (BSM) tools built on the BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System platform, today announced that its Kinetic Calendar software has received DADMS validation (ID #55507). DADMS—Department of the Navy (DoN) Application and Database Management System—is a registry of official Navy and Marine Corps IT systems and applications allowed to go onboard a Navy ship. Each application on the DADMS list has been examined and put into compliance with the Navy's application reduction initiative.

“Securing DADMS approval is an important step in our ongoing efforts to help organizations within the U.S. Navy implement cost-effective and reliable BSM tools,” said John Sundberg, president of Kinetic Data. “Kinetic Calendar provides a fast and easy way to display and interact with any time- and date-based information in BMC’s Remedy AR System.”

Kinetic Calendar is the only actionable change management calendar tool built on BMC Remedy. The software enables users to create and publish interactive calendars—using any time- or date-based AR System platform data—with an intuitive, familiar online calendar interface. Users have the ability to create private and public calendars related to their own specific needs. Calendars may include on-call support schedules, software development in computer labs, asset lease expirations, and forward change calendars, among many other scheduling options.

In April 2008, Kinetic Calendar met the requirements of the BMC Remedy Validation Program. The program ensures that third-party products properly integrate with the BMC Remedy AR System and other BMC platforms.

Kinetic Data’s BSM product line includes: Kinetic Request—the only request management portal software that lets nontechnical personnel design and automatically manage their own processes and approvals for internal service and equipment requests, without relying on IT; Kinetic Survey—the only process-driven survey management software built on BMC Remedy.

In July 2007, Kinetic Data was awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract, number GS-35F-0554T. The contract authorizes Kinetic Data to provide software products, support, training and consulting services to the U.S. federal government. In awarding Kinetic Data a GSA Schedule 70 contract, the federal government has determined that the company is recognized as fully authorized to conduct business directly with federal government agencies.
